Refactor tests in the Recoverability/MessageFailures area to use the sequence helper for better readability and failure diagnostics. Replace tautological assertions with meaningful status checks, remove unused context properties, and strip redundant console output.

Also updates the performance tests to report progress on failure and marks the message failures sweep as complete in the review plan.
